Talacre Beach is just 2 miles from the Coppice gates. Around a 45 minute walk gets you right on to the National Wales coast path, where you go from there is up to you.

2.8 miles of mainly countryside rights of way, all the way to the pub! Walk over the northern edge of the Clwydian Range national landscape. Lots of options to head off in different directions along the nature trail, but follow it to its end and you'll arrive at the Eagle & Child for a well earned drink.

This is one for the explorers, as you can even head down a mine tunnel (take your own safety seriously, and maybe wellies and a torch!) . This is the route we walked, but we missed the upper tunnel, so take this as more of a guide than a definite route.

A local ramble to familiarise yourself with our little corner of North Wales/Gogledd Cymru. 4.6 miles straight from the gate, about half on road, half on trails, and should take around 2 hours.

A similar route to the Eagle & Child trail, so you can still drop in for a jar, but carry on a little further to link up with the historic Offa's dyke national trail.
