We recently stayed (may 2023) at Emlyn’s Coppice for our 25th wedding anniversary. We wanted something nice and relaxing but not too far out incase we wanted to do other things, that’s exactly what we got. The pod itself had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. The Shower was so powerful, the hot tub was already warm when we got there too. Lovely fluffy towels were provided plus all the essential cutlery, mugs, glasses etc. Outside the pod there were 2 recliners which was perfect and a bbq. The views were amazing and at night everything is lit up with fairy lights, it was so pretty. Although we didn’t actually meet the owners as they didn’t bother us, we did get a text to make sure everything was ok, which was nice.

We had an amazing break, we took our electric bikes and rode along cycle route 5 for 28 miles in total from Talacre which was beautiful and of course stopping along the way to visit the arcades, eat ice cream, fish & chips, and finished off with a beer, the weather was beautiful which was perfect.

A fantastic introduction to glamping. We have enjoyed camping all over England, Scotland and Wales but my other half wanted to try glamping with a hot tub. Let me tell you she was certainly not disappointed with Emlyn's Coppice. A lovely peaceful setting. We were both surprised at how lovely and functional the hub was. Our hosts were also lovely, nothing too much trouble. We have already booked for another short break. Fabulous.

Lovely break, really enjoyed it!
Only a couple of minor things for you to consider:
-Non stick frying pan (had to scrape eggs off!)
-Update bedding
-Update floor brush
Otherwise spot on!!

We had a nice break. The place is stunning. Not for me personally though. A bit too rural and natural.

Lovely place clean peaceful would go again

Absolutely amazing place! So peaceful and absolutely blown away with how beautiful the pod and the surrounding area was. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering going here.

Before arriving at the pods I had contact with the owners and they were very good at replying and sorting out a ‘Happy Birthday’ banner for my partners Birthday.
We arrived and followed the simple instructions for parking, unlocking the trolley (brilliant idea) for moving your items from the car to the pod.
Once in the pod we were very impressed by the cleanliness and facilities, the Happy Birthday banner was up, they had also started a nice warm log fire for us in the pod and also for the hot tub.
The area is so peaceful and in summer it will be a dream, sitting in the hot tub at night with just the stars for light is amazing.
We met the owners when we were leaving the carpark one morning and they are lovely people, very friendly, they leave you to enjoy your break with little contact unless you need them.
You can see the sea from the car park and locally it takes approx 10 minutes to drive to the sea and to visit Prestatyn.
We were really impressed with everything at Emlyn’s coppice and will definitely be back to stay again. 100% recommend this place for a short stay.

A lovely winter break In a beautiful
Location. The staff were wonderful checking if we were ok and had everything we needed and the hot tub was a bonus in the snow.

Such a gorgeous cosy pod. Had the most relaxing time. Looking out in the morning to nature surrounding us was lovely. The wood fired hot tub was really nice to relax in, especially in winter. We will definitely be back. Was gutted to leave. Thanks for a lovely mini get away.

Outstanding venue, what more do you want to escape to the woodland peaceful and tranquil setting.
Our 2 and 4 years old girls love the mini adventure glamping, such a different experience for them.
The hut we stayed in had a few essentials missing that would be useful to have in the hut. i.e tea cloth, kitchen role, cloth or scrubber for the dishes.
Overall we had a fabulous time and enjoyed every minute of the mini adventure.
Thank you for been a great host it was a memorable trip and we hope to come back again in the future.
