We found the site well presented and beautifully looked after. Our hosts are a lovely couple, hard working, and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this site to anybody.

This pod is beautiful! So carefully thought through, everything you could need is provided, the little coppice is so pretty and the views from the hill are spectacular! I was worried that with our 10 and 7 year olds there might not be much space but actually we were fine. The pod has crockery, pans, utensils, towels, bedding, everything!
We cooked sausages on the outdoor fire pit, had a dip in the hot tub, and when the weather got bad we brought fish and chips back (even found somewhere that did gluten free a few minutes away!).
We took a long walk down to the lighthouse and along the beach, picking up treasures and exploring.
We’ve stayed in national trust pods before but they’re completely empty, without even a bed- this was a whole new level of comfort!
The only thing I could wish for is more family size pods so we could come here as a group of friends.

Great pod. Loved the hot tub and the coastal theme.
Just a few little bits that you would expect from a high end pod. Hand soap not filled up in bathroom, coffee pod still in machine from previous people, the fan didn’t work but wasn’t too bother as it wasn’t scorching hot. Somewhere to put bottles etc when you are in the shower would be useful too. A few extra flags around the sides of hot tub would be beneficial as it is rather muddy when you are fettling with the log burner.
Just some points we picked up, no way complaining but can imagine other guests would do so.

What a place x perfect place for a relaxing break. We were lucky with the weather so took full advantage of the hot tub. The pod was exceptionally clean and had everything you needed for a short break, it was our first time glamping and what an experience it was, absolutely loved it!! Will definitely recommend and be back again in the future xx

A unique place and just so quiet . A wonderful setting and although the pods seem close together there is no overlooking as all pods melt into the surroundings. We could not fault anything. Loved being able to cook outside as it is not something we can be bothered with at home. Think you have a perfect place.
If finances/time could stretch to it we would love to experience the Coppice during each season
If there was anything we felt was needed (and it is subjective) are hooks to hang towels/robes in the bathroom a small holder for shampoos etc in the shower’

What can I say, the location is excellent, really quiet, but not far from all the shops you could need for, food or any necessities, the owner had the hot tub lovely and hot ready to use, and where on hand for anything needed, great value for money and very clean, just bring a clothes bag and your all set, enjoy

Lovely little spot great for me and the Mrs really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

A gorgeous place that’s surrounded by nature perfect to get away and have a relaxing break.

Best gateway I’ve been on! The service/staff couldn’t have been better. The location is perfect quiet, peaceful and just a few minutes drive by the beach. Perfect setting for a weekend away.

Very helpful and friendly. Helped us with the hot tub and anything we asked about. Would just make one suggestion another mirror by a plug for the women who are drying their hair / styling the mirror in the bathroom is no good as its not near a plug. i had an extension but not everyone would bring that.
