[COMING SOON — WORK IN PROGRESS]
Windfall Series no. 2: Komorebi is currently on the workbench at Stormwood.
Handcrafted from native sycamore wind-felled in the Emlyn's Coppice woodlands a year and a half ago, the silhouette of this table draws inspiration from the graceful, sweeping stance of a leaning Japanese cherry tree celebrated throughout classic Asian artwork.
Rather than disguising the wood’s natural character, every fissure and hollow is being hand-filled with shimmering Havana bronze resin—a direct nod to Kintsugi, the traditional Japanese art of repairing porcelain with gold to honor an object's history.
Please note: The image above shows the initial design concept sketch while final crafting and polishing take place in the workshop. Full photos, pricing, and launch details will be revealed upon completion.
